The one question I did not answer is whether the Marlins are better off with Kim Ng or Peter Bendix. It's too early to tell for Mr. Bendix, and while Kim Ng did lead them to the playoffs, it was still a small sample size of only three seasons. So I abstained. Only time will tell, Glenn. I suggest holding on to that question for another poll edition down the road.
With some of the injured players getting back on the roster in 2024, there's the possibility of a couple of surprises. If we had just a couple more decent hitters including one big bat, with a little luck, this club could do some damage.
Of excellent free Agents on the market. Also it will be interesting to see if our pitching prospects make a large positive contribution this season similar to what
occurred with the young pitchers in 2003.
Also will Bell and Burger make up the HR
numbers with the loss of Soler’s power. There is still time for the front office to sign a power bat.
I felt the need to add something absent from the poll choices: this is by far the most talented and creative front office the Marlins have ever had, based on track record. They have hired several people who were directly involved with building great teams. Let’s give them a chance, especially since the leading decision makers are just being assembled. I know, I know….we are always supposed to be fretting and worrying. I plan to enjoy watching baseball.
Ron, I respect your Opinion, and I agree. I also hope that you are right. If this franchise can take on the mindset the approach of the Tampa Bay rays, then we could really have something here.
This is so, Marlins! Man, I love this team. This is my baby as far as sports teams are concerned, but, they just can’t seem to get out of their own way.

The results of this survey could change if
Sherman allows Bendix to pick up a couple

I was going to comment myself, but your post quite accurately reflects my thoughts.

This is depressing.
