He has hit the ground running, so all's well right now. Definitely concur, though, with the gist of article. Production over style. The team is trying to accomplish something this season. The team.

You’re so right about all of this Geff. We might be better without Jazz.

Totally different team. I only hope that now when Jazz returns he will do so with more empathy for the game and for his teammates, otherwise I think it would be a good time to try to trade him for someone like Salvador Pérez for example.

His trade value is not close to what many think based on the reality of his production and his inability to stay on the field. The D-Backs are very pleased with the trade they made for Zac Gallen.

Totally agree but he is young and his talent is undeniable, I'm sure he can be an interesting piece of trade for several teams.

Bat Jazz 9th. Use his speed for hit and run with Arraez batting behind him. It will also insure that Jazz gets more good pitches to hit and takes away pressure Jazz May feel to carry the team on his back.

The point is they don’t need him to carry the team. He’s yet to prove in his career he’s capable of carrying a successful team. They need him to be one of 9 in the lineup, to be a steady cog, as those who replaced him were.

yes, my point was what Jazz is feeling; not what the team needs him to do. When Jazz plays, he seems to make the game all about him, the Marlins don't need that...never needed that. Keeping him 9th will humble him and make him an everyday player...or dare I say trade him

They’ve been much better without him for the last 6 1/2 weeks than they’ve ever been with him in the last 4 years.

You’re right that he should hit 9th, but he’ll complain about that as he has in the past, and that threatens to disrupt what the team has going right now.

His trade value is far less than what most people would think because his reputation around the league is not good.

Tremendous tools. Tremendous potential. But at some point people have to look at the back of the baseball card and see the production has yet to match the hype.

Could that change? Yes. But he’ll have to change.

No matter what the marketing and social media people want you to believe, this isn’t his team.

I couldn't agree more!

Well said Glenn!
