Love when it's Arraez's turn to bat. He has also played a fine second base, as well.

Hope they sign him to a longer term deal like the Braves are doing. Question, how are you feeling at 6-7 after that schedule to start? I’ll admit I’m not in the same place I was after that first series, a bit more hopeful!

I’m exactly where I was during the spring. This looks like a 75-win team to me. That’s an improvement over last year., but it’s not a playoff team. Still a 4th-place team despite benefitting from 18 fewer games against Braves, Mets and Phillies. There are going to be some good stretches and some bad stretches. The rotation isn’t as deep as many want to believe. Arraez is a great addition, but losing Pablo hurts a lot. Rotation certainly isn’t proven over a full season beyond Sandy. I love Luzardo, but he still hasn’t made 30 starts. Do you know what you’re going to get from Rogers, Cabrera and Cueto/others every time they take the mound? Lineup is better than in the last 5 years but not as good as it needs to be to contend for a playoff spot. And that’s without any significant injuries to this point. Braves, Mets and Phillies have all had major injuries to deal with.
