AL EAST

Baltimore Orioles: The Orioles are 158-109 (.592) in 267 games since catcher Adley Rutschman made his ML debut May 21, 2022. Only the Braves, Dodgers and Astros have a better record in MLB in that span.

In the 267 games before Rutschman was promoted, the O’s went 96-171 (.360), the worst record in all of Baseball in that stretch, which covered all or part of 4 seasons from the end of 2019 through the early weeks of 2022.


Boston Red Sox: Kenley Jansen’s next save will give him 30 for the 9th consecutive full season. 9 30-save seasons overall will tie him for 4th in ML history behind only 3 Hall of Famers.
