Remembering the contract many thought would change the Marlins forever

Jose’s passing changed everything. With Jose and a significant investment to add the right starting pitchers, they’d have had a nice window open up in 2017.
My exact thoughts. I believe that the Marlins at that time had the best young talent in MLB.
If that roster was allowed to continue they most likely would have gone on at least a 5 year
run of being in playoff contention. How exciting that would have been!
