I have the Rickey Henderson book but I haven’t read it yet. So many books to read and so little time! 😊 I did read Juicing the Game which he wrote quite a few years ago.
I think pitchers will have to adjust to the clock, and hopefully over time injuries will drop to even below before the pitch clock because they will no longer be able to throw max effort with every pitch. Jeff Nelson said something similar on the broadcast a few weeks back, about how during his playing days they never saw the levels of injuries you see these days, all while throwing dramatically more and he chalked it up to max effort and velo with every pitch.

Would you have kept Sandy in for the 9th?
Why/why not
Would you have pulled him after Sandy gave up the first run?

Love your newsletter!!!!!
Thanks, Lou. Didn’t see the game, so I can’t answer. Sorry.
Thanks for the information about the book you listened to. I’m always looking for baseball books to read.
I have Howard’s latest, on Rickey Henderson, but haven’t read it yet. Should make that next on my list.

It’s from a couple of years ago, but if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend Howard Bryant’s Henry Aaron bio. Spectacular.
I don’t have this one so I will look for it.
