in theory it sounds good, but thinking in practice thinking not a good idea - you can't go home again

Here in Cuba, on some occasions a HR Derby has been held, as well as a game for players who are no longer active and I tell you that they were a complete success, even, sometimes, they came to have more acceptance and charisma than their own game of active players. Hopefully and MLB put it into practice.

When you start with guys like Griffey, Pujols, Thome and Ortiz saying they want in, it has a chance to be huge. I would seriously rather watch that than the Home Run Derby that was held in Seattle. I would rather watch that than the All-Star Game itself with what the ASG has become. I know it was an entertaining game the other night, but with so many of the biggest stars not playing for various reasons (including injuries) and the starters being out after a couple of innings anyway, the ASG is not what it once was.

I love this idea. Back in the day I used to love The Yankees’ Old Timers Game. Mickey Mantle ❤️.
