What would it take to get you to attend more Marlins games?
It’s been 31 National League seasons. And outside of the franchise’s first couple of seasons, with the exception of an outlier year or 2, the Marlins have been at or near the bottom of Major League Baseball in attendance.
19 seasons at the old football stadium on the Dade-Broward line, replete with torturous heat, soul-sucking humidity and the constant threat of rain.
And, for the last 12 seasons, a dazzling retractable roof ballpark in Miami, with controlled climate and all the creature comforts any fan could want.
Whatever the location, World Series-winning seasons and 100-loss campaigns. It really hasn’t mattered.
