Remember when they used to interrupt television programming with that urgent message? And everyone would hold their breath to see what it was that could possibly be so important that they had to call Walter Cronkite back to the newsroom and make the man re-tie his tie at 9:18 p.m.?

Well, it was probably a bigger deal than the Marlins losing 15 out of 20 with their season on the line, but that’s the news bulletin with which we’re currently dealing here at VFTB.
