The Marlins hosted meaningful September baseball games against the Los Angeles Dodgers the last 3 nights at loanDepot park. 

One of Baseball’s glamour teams was in town in the midst of another spectacular season. With a fanbase that spans the globe, the team of Robinson, Snider, Reese, Campanella, Koufax, Lasorda, Garvey, Valenzuela and now Kershaw buttresses attendance in every road ballpark in which it appears, with only the Yankees and Cubs playing in front of more fans on the road on average in all of MLB. 

But with so much on the line for the home team in the middle of a September surge, and with a sexy opponent making its only appearance of the season in the first-base dugout, only 34,110 fans turned out over the 3 nights, as the Marlins boosted their playoff hopes by taking 2 of 3 from the NL West leaders, who own the 2nd-best record in the National League.
